Description
Sound effect addon for Garry's Mod. Causes the player to dynamically scream and curse at enemies when they're engaging in gunfights. Also adds custom pain sound effects that the player occasionally emits when they take damage.

The Definitive Collection contains all my voice sets under the same addon, remakes Michael De Santa's voice set to current standard, along with additional fixes and includes a new "Heavy Pain" system for specific voice sets.

RDR2 Battle Callouts functions very similarly in concept like this addon and is more advanced n' customizable. You might prefer that over this.





Features:
  • taunts_voiceset NUMBERHERE to select a voice set. Certain voice sets have additional Heavy Pain systems where only heavy pain voice lines will play when below 50 health. Voice sets are:

    1 - Arthur Morgan (Has Heavy Pain system)
    2 - Joe Barbaro
    3 - Max Payne
    4 - Generic Female
    5 - Michael De Santa (Has Heavy Pain system)
    6 - Claude Speed
    0 - Disabled

  • Every time you kill one of the allowed NPCs, there's a 25% chance the player will play a taunt. Most voice sets have A LOT of kill taunts to prevent repetitiveness.

  • Appropriate cooldown timers to avoid sound files playing too often or over each other.

  • When the player takes damage, there's a 25% chance they will play a pain sound effect. Being below 16 health increases that chance to 100%.

  • When a pain sound effect triggers AND the damage was taken from one of the allowed NPCs, there's another 25% chance that pain sound effect will be followed up with another taunt. Just like kill taunts, there's also A LOT of pained taunts that can play.

  • Only the following NPCs allow the player to trigger a taunt:

    - npc_combine_s
    - npc_metropolice
    - npc_zombie
    - npc_fastzombie
    - npc_poisonzombie
    - npc_zombine
    - npc_fastzombie_torso
    - npc_zombie_torso
    - npc_citizen
    - monster_human_assassin

Limitations:
  • This addon has only been tested for Single Player. There may be unnoticed bugs during multiplayer matches.

draconic base voicesets, meh, draconic base makes too many conflicts and breaks a lot of my addons, plus there isnt many voicesets anyway.

i wouldnt use tfa-vox, its bullshit, its hardly even optimized (lags like hell when i started a multiplayer server), it also crashes the game with culbrtee overflow if you have too many voxes (just about 6 voxes and it crashes),
so if all of these issues didnt exist on tfa vox, i wouldnt even bother to leave a comment here for "multiplayer support".

For multiplayer stuff 'n shit, you should use something like TFA-Vox instead.

When I create addons I make them stable for Single Player and don't really bother with the multiplayer side at all, as I don't play Gmod in multiplayer.

well, i meant, every player gets to choose their own voice, or stick as michael by default.

can you make this command a client based command? in multiplayer if a host chooses e.g. joe barbaro, every other player would have this voice too, it would be cool if it was player based, if you want to you can have me as a free testing dummy (lol)
