TEP70 - Latvia (LDZ)

This mod adds 3 Latvian (LDZ) liveries for TEP70 loco. After the collapse of the USSR, the TEP70 remained the main diesel locomotive of the Baltic countries. In total, there were 53 locomotives in the Latvia. However, in fact, most of the locomotives were no longer in use in the 2000s. By that time, some of the locomotives had already been decomissioned or retired, some were sold off, some were left to work with Latvijas Ekspresis and Baltija trains, and some were engaged in the transit of trains from neighboring countries. By 2020 almost all diesel locomotives were retired and used only for maintenance (laboratory trains, car and diesel locomotive hauling, etc.).

• TEP70 LDZ (Latvijas Ekspresis) (since 2006) - 3 diesel locomotives TEP70 owned by LDZ in 2006 were painted in the colors of Latvijas Ekspresis. However, for some reason they were almost not used for operation with passenger trains, and in 2010s they were scrapped. In our mod you can exhibit this diesel locomotive together with its native company train.
