Original mod notes (1.2):

A weapon mod that adds a range of psionic-combat hybrid weapons, designed to bridge the gap between the eltex staff and a more conventional weapon. Adds new options to all tech levels, from the simple tribal bowman to the spacer marine.

A simple weapon mod that adds 10 semi-new weapons into the game!

Unlocked across 5 different research items, these new weapons function just like their vanilla counterparts, with 2 main differences:

1. They're more expensive (and heavier).
2. They give boosts to psychic powers, similar to the eltex staff; though most weapons aren't as effective as the eltex staff's buffs.

Most weapons give simple, even-ish boosts to both psychic stats, but a couple of them grant buffs with a hard lean in one direction.
There are 10 psionic weapons in this "vanilla weapons only" module, all named "Prestige <weapon name>", similarly to prestige armour:
- Recurve Bow
- Greatbow
- Spear
- Mace
- Longsword
- Pump Shotgun
- Assault Rifle
- Sniper Rifle
- Charge Rifle
- Charge Lance (named Psion Lance instead of "Prestige Charge Lance")

Note that prestige melee weapons (Spear, Mace, and Longsword) have specific crafting recipes instead of using the "stuff" system. I couldn't get the colour masking to work in a decent way, so I went for a steel-based construction system instead. Lore-wise, prestige weapons are very specific and must be built and ornamented in certain ways.

Modding is a community activity for me; I'd rather see a mod of mine continued by a fellow modmaker than left to die without support.

Thank you for the original mod, and being ok with me updating it!

Thanks so much for continuing this! It's been a long time since I even looked at making things for Rimworld, so to see folks preserving my mods while I'm off exploring other things is humbling. I'll be sure to link back here on the original mod page.
