Wooly Mason Bee

A giant, wooly, solitary bee that lives in the depths of the world.

Shear them for their wool, and milk them for their wax at a farmers workshop!
Cure the wax for crafting, or keep it unrefined and make quires for your libraries at a craftsdwarf workshop!

Critter details

Mature at age 10, can live to be 65.
Live in caverns, need pastures when tamed.
Their size and venom make them formidable, but they are gentle giants.
Sexually dimorphic, females are the size of small rhinos and males are the size of hippos. Only females sting.

I didn't want to mess with making a eusocial or semi eusocial species. Mason bees in the wild tend to live underground and are solitary. Mason bees are the closest irl comparison.

Hello! I was looking through errorlog and noticed

*** Error(s) finalizing the reaction MAKE_WAX_TABLET
MAKE_WAX_TABLET:Unrecognized Item Token: LIQUID
*** Error(s) finalizing the reaction RENDER_WAXMILK
RENDER_WAXMILK:Unrecognized Item Token: LIQUID

By changing LIQUID to LIQUID_MISC in the reaction file the error resolves!
