Description
Summary: Minimalist T4 Blitz Destroyer inspired by The Dauntless by ArtemisRouge (here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2423906682 ), the first in a line of revolutionary low-CPU dreadnought killer ships that changed the game forever. This is an asymmetric variant of the other Daunting which was originally designed for Reforged Eden v1.7, featuring room for 2 of the tier 2 shield boosters off in a side room in addition to the 2 that can fit in the hangar.

This craft is designed for constant dodge-roll style combat at a distance of 500-800m from the target.

The design methodology is to maximize turret loadout and thrust performance at the very limits of 2.1M CPU, and to have some room for modest quantum/aux core upgrades. The majority of the thrusters are positioned in nacelles which are swept back in the rear, which provides great maneuverability, allowing you to face toward the enemy, ensuring that your thickest armor sections face toward them at all times. As the critical systems and decoys are located in front of the bridge and near the bottom of the craft, your enemy's targeting turrets and thrusters should lead to the bulk of their weaponry missing you entirely when paired with the dodge-rolling tactic, other than weapons with an instantaneous projectile speed (positrons, modulated lasers, miniguns/cannons, etc). Core is located 2 blocks in front of the engineering section, so that if you get blasted through, your primary systems, CPU extenders, and storage should remain intact for later rescue (cored ships tend to despawn after a few hours hours in multiplayer).

Don't forget to customize your turret targeting and tune your roll speed down to about 55-65 based on cargo load and personal preference!

How it compares to the other variant of the Daunting:

- Asymmetric body featuring drive thrusters makes ship a little wider, allowing additional space for fixed guns and tier 2 shield boosters
- Comes with 1 x Shield Capacitor Bank
- Comes with 1 fewer Laser Cannon (Room for many more)
- Slightly more fore/aft thrust, slightly lower all other thrust
- Modestly more cargo space
- All medical devices
- Even better cockpit visibility for parking and docking due to added windows above and to the sides

Upgrade advice: Easily accommodates 2 or 3 aux cores. After the first aux core, recommend to add a Shield Charger Coupling in the hangar side room, another large generator in the engine room, then fixed guns and turrets as desired. For the 2nd aux core, recommend to add Infrared Modulated Laser Turrets and Cruise Missile Launchers, and perhaps Sentinel Flak or Minigun Turrets to the rear of the nacelles for drone control.

Well, I don't even know if it will work yet but I'm hopeful ;)

@ArtemisRouge Thanks, it's an honor to have your approval, and I hope you're doing well. I've been watching your new releases, but haven't had a chance to try them out as I've barely played the game in ages. I'm finally doing another playthrough of RE after 2 years! I have a radical new design in the works but it was taking way too long, so for my current RE playthrough I decided to just give this a few updates, and it did not disappoint. I was able to take down a Tianlong in reasonable time and safety with 2 aux cores despite being incredibly rusty, so I must have done something right with this one :)
