The Celeste served as the first true car of the Cumberland marque, with four wheels and a feature set one could expect from a daily driver. Despite its otherworldly appearance, underneath the body lies a fairly modest sedan. Though its silky smooth ride quality was praised by many, it was criticized by enthusiasts for being much less potent than its appearance would suggest.
