Republia's first homegrown monoplane design, being built out of a mix of wood and aluminium. Comparable in performance to the CAC Boomerang in many respects, they perform well at low altitude and are known for being very nimble, but are outclassed at higher altitudes. The Mk.I C derivative saw the Buffon being armed with six .303 machine guns and bomb racks for 4x 25lb bombs along with manually operated retractable landing gear.
