Description:
DefectGamings Configurable Car Parts Weights Mod - This Mod allows you to Configure a multiplier to Raise or Lower the Weights of all Vanilla Car Parts and Car Related Tools



NOTE: Changing this Mod's Weight Multipier to Far ends of the spectrum may cause adverse affects to the Handling of Vehicles, Too light may induce less grip/handling, Too Heavy and the Vehicle may not even move.



FAQ:
  • Does this work on Existing Save Files?
    - Yes

  • Can it be Safely Removed?
    - Yes at anytime, all changed Weights will be reverted - Though your Character/Storage may become overburdened after removal of mod.

  • Does this work with Multiplayer?
    - Yes - Only tested on Locally Hosted MP with friends - Anyone hosting a Live Server is welcome to test and Verify

  • v1 - Initial Release

  • v2 - Adjusted the Max weight from 10 to 5 - Seeing as Vehicles became basically un-usable when adding more than 5x weight to parts

Just tested in on my G-Portal server, seems to be working. Only thing I noticed was that if I change the multiplier in the sandbox settings, i needed to log out and back in to see the weight update. Didn't require a server restart, just a logout/login. Thanks. I'll updated you if i notice anything not working on a dedicated MP server.

Make sure the Mods are not just selected by your server, but also on your client side aswell, I've only tested Locally Hosted Servers, if your trying this on a proper dedicated server, then I've got no clue, I've never tried it on a Live server and wasn't keen on throwing money away to test it

I cant find in the server settings where to adjust the weight at for any of your mods, plz help
