Description
[ORIGINAL ADDON]
(Will be taken down if the original author wants me to.)

(just like the lighter; this was made to work with the x86-64 branch by removing a single argument from one line of code. no idea how this functions in the normal branch)

after mine kerfuffle with the lantern, a good-hearted person had informed me that 'twas no lantern! it is what they call a "lighter"! i feel enlightened by this knowledge, so much that i had given them gifts to express my gratitude!

but not long after, another person asked for mine assistance! adventure after adventure, 'twas simply splendid!
and their problem was just like mine! they hast a lantern that refused to illuminate the world for its owner!

after trying the same method i used for the "lighter", the lantern returned to normalcy once again! its light shines even brighter than mine!

as a token of gratitude, they let me take photos of their "pole-gay-month" holding the bright lantern in the night!
i hath never seen such a fascinating creature, perhaps i shalt find and document more of them!

(still have no clue as to why this is so quixotic)

i just tested it in singleplayer and it is still bugged (bugs occur if not in first person basically, from what i can tell), and according to my own screenshots i think its always been a thing. although my gardevoir holding the lantern upside down is a new problem.
and the best part? i have absolutely zero clue how to fix it, the most ive learned of glua so far is basically nothing so you might have to wait about 300 years before i finally stop procrastinating and actually get to fixing this. (that or until someone gets sick of my laziness and does it themselves.)

The light of the lantern is stuck at the origin while it is being held as a swep. Is this happening on only multiplayer?

i myself really dont care and wouldnt even have a say in it, as this barely counts as my own work (one line of code, mind you) and claiming otherwise could be considered plagiarism
although it may be wise to ask the authors of the original addons (to which i have added links for) for permission regarding this

Hello there, would you be okay if I used this addon for a map I'm currently making? A long time ago I made almost the same edit as you did with the original addon since it seems that the original author has abandoned the mod + removing the nasy flickering.

these are pretty easy to fix lol, all you really have to do is change the argument within every instance of the DynamicLight() function to be an integer (the games lua errors quite literally tells you this)
and its fine since ive got free time to fix these and theyre simple enough, although im kind of concerned about whether this will have unforeseen consequences or not
