Anvers Station

"Situated several miles away from Anvers Island is its aptly named, Anvers Station. The station primarily focuses on monitoring weather and geographical changes, but also studies local wildlife and fauna in their spare time. Life here feels like home, yet it isn't. Being so close to your colleagues and all. The station is currently having most of their equipment replaced."

I was itching to create an Arctic inspired map again. I hadn't had my fill with Black Mesa North yet and so I hit up a friend of mine, Bob, to throw around ideas. He landed on an Arctic lab and I quickly got to work starting pre production and gather my references. I eventually found a real life lab that was perfect to base this map off of, Palmer Station. Frustratingly, there were very little images of what the labs looked like and so I had to go completely off of my own imagination.

I was planning on using INFRA props but for some reason they had really strange culling issues and unfortunately I had to cut it. Still a bit bummed out about it honestly.
