I'm happy to announce version 2 as of 7/26!

Part of a project I'm working on, you may install any module and they will work independent of each other, however they are good to have with each other for the optimal experience.

Damage values are more realistic, you aren't going to tank many bullets, but you also won't die from a few, same goes for NPCs.

Damage is affected by:

Your personal difficulty setting!
Keep in mind, even on the lowest difficulty (1) it's... hell...

You'll learn to play tactically instead of run & gun with this addon!

psst, the BetterAI series isn't going to get updated, unless in the future, but it might be a new & improved mod by then. feel free to follow me, steam should give you a notification whenever i post a new addon, otherwise, i'll be reading through what has been said here, and applying it to the new addon *whenever that happens*, appreciate you guys.

i think this should affect player -> npc much less, considering most player weapons deal a lot more damage that NPC weapons
pretty much any melee is able to onetap things, i think i remember killing an antlion guard in a few hits with a GLASS SHARD
