Report a translation problem
These maps are based on highly detailed heightmaps of real locations. The highway layouts are also created the exact same way they are in the real world on top of the heightmap. Thus didn't terraform the highway lands to keep it as real as possible, ofcourse the game itself has some limitations when mimicking such real world twist and turns that too true to scale when it comes to road layouts in map editor, but decided to keep it that way... you can always terraform them into smooth flat land as per your taste within the game...
