Description
Are you tired of triggering the same events over and over?

Do you love seeing the personalities, backstories and relationships of your heroes shine in the game's storytelling?

Do these feel like leading questions?

If you answered any of the above with 'yes,' then Dynamic Events is the mod for you!

This mod adds 13* events, which delve into your characters' backstories, personalities and relationships. These events are lore-friendly, immersive, and fit seamlessly into the vanilla Wildermyth experience.

Constructive feedback is welcomed. If you encounter any typos or bugs related to Dynamic Events, please let me know via the comments (ideally with a screenshot of the issue) and I'll do my best to fix it.

Updated with some bug fixes, slight rewrites and visual improvements. Working on a new event, so expect another update most likely within a few weeks. Big thank you to everyone who has commented, subscribed or given Dynamic Events a positive rating! :cat_stars:

@FeelForVibes I had considered doing something similar but ruled it out because A) it's possible to manually override backstories, meaning the event could imply something happened in a character's past that the player wanted to retcon, and B) targeting specific lines, like the ones you mentioned, would make the event pretty rare (there are over 400 history lines in the game). I do have a few events that occur based on hooks, and there is some dialogue variation here and there related to history tags (e.g. orphan, criminal, nomadic). I'm still working on adding events to this mod, so I'll definitely revisit this idea if I find a better way of implementing it; in any case, thank you for the feedback, and I hope you enjoy Dynamic Events.

Neat, but kind of expected it would involve events relating to certain backstories. Like the Wildhearts "raised as a woodland prince/by the Stag King," "abused because they're allegedly a Lostling,
etc,.
