Description
MY DESCRIPTION

So, you're probably wondering what exactly was wrong with the original.

Well! The original had a vertice error where the top part of the left arm would glitch out as seen in the original screenshot, this can be seen with a lot of reanimations or SWEPs.

This can be caused by bad animation rigs, or poor weight painting, I'm honestly not too sure but my hotfix works for now.

My fix? I just removed the vertices and recompiled the models.

DO NOT INSTALL THE ORIGINAL IF YOU INSTALL THIS, IT WILL OVERWRITE THIS VERSION AND YOU WILL STILL HAVE THE VERTICES BUGGED

I will remove this if the original author wishes me to do so.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION

Basically viewmodel hands for all the Combine Soldiers based on their actual model instead of the generic arms used by default in gmod, the original hands were made by bossn00b much like the Metrocop hands, also basically EZ2 hands (these were not ported from there, however).

Elite arms use playercolors and changing skins between regular and shotgunner also changes the arm skin, some of these features will not work on servers as will the whole addon because of how i set this up and due to how arm replacements on existing built-in PMs work (unless the server also has it), so i also replaced the original gmod mesh with the soldier one in this addon, not the perfect solution, but not much i can do until seperate arms are officially added to the default Combine PMs.

If you want to have Elite hands without the colorable arms or to use these on other models id suggest using this pack instead which is where i based my own work on: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2848272792

If you like what i do, send me some dosh.[www.paypal.com]

It was just an addon conflict, thanks for the help!

Unable to replicate it, it's something on your end. Went through Ravenholm, and the dark area in gm_construct. It's very possible you have a borked installation, just reinstall the mod and see if that fixes it. If that doesn't do the trick, I'm not sure what else I can do.

I'll check and see what's up, give me a bit.

They're always bright if you enter a dark area in game, such as Ravenholm

Something on your end. I checked the VMT and there is no instance of fullbright.

Zombine have fullbright arms, which bothers me

Yup.

It's doable but honestly I have no intention of making any more c_hands or supporting this further unless something catastrophic happens. I might look into it, see if I can do something with it. But if I do, you'll likely have to use a c_hand selector mod because I'm not sure what playermodel I can append it to.

Which ones in specific? Because this one doesn't come with colorable arms.
