Basic Training Overhaul Vanilla + - Slightly harder Kenshi mods

This sub mod for the most excellent training mod Basic Training Overhaul by Arkhiel, greatly increases the blueprint and build costs for the training items, and adds in some high end research requirements. Our research indicates this mod may alleviate training mod playthrough guilt by up to 97%. But don’t just take our word for it, read on!

What would a training item in Vanilla Kenshi be worth if you took you all the way to level 100, even at a veritable snail’s pace? The answer is that first off, it doesn’t exist, so if it did it would be exorbitantly expensive to research and make this item.

This mod is a step in that direction, increasing the blueprint price from 1k cats to 25k cats, but also adding in some research options at tech level 3. Each research takes 48 hours, 20 books, and includes the build requirements of the training dummies, as a prototype if you wish..These build requirements are no joke either, sometimes including items that you wouldn't normally use to build. Just to make life a little bit harder we have also increased the hunger rate from 3X to 4X. Training is hungry work!

But it’s not all sand in your sandals, we’ve also corrected a few text items and tweaked a few range values to help from getting stuck on the dummies in tight locations. You're welcome!

Here at Slightly Harder Kenshi, we felt tech level 3 was a great place to start supplementing other training methods, and we want the player to feel a sense of accomplishment when they finally get one of these. Just imagine when your team is training Sabres past level 32 beneath a beautiful sunset on their own terms, or whatever, preparing for the challenges ahead!
