Bank Of Bricksburg

The Bank Of Bricksburg Tower, nicknamed 'Bob' by city residents, first opened its doors in 1984.

This Downtown building functions as the International headquarters of the B.O.B banking firm, which was founded in 1889. Its head offices had changed location several times before the directors board decided in the late 1970's to purchase land and construct their own building. Construction began in 1979.

This building became the focal-point of a new wave of skyscrapers that began to dominate the skyline of Bricksburg. Its impact is still affecting the ways in which many buildings in the city are being built today.

For example, upon its completion, B.O.B Tower was the tallest building in Bricksburg. It retained this title for two years until a taller, equally famous, building took its place. However, it still holds the record for the tallest building in the state to feature a rooftop helipad.

The CEO of the bank often visits his headquarters via helicopter, as do many of the bank's important clients. But most of the time, the helipad is reserved for emergencies.
