KAW Co. Mk. 58 Naval Cannon

A naval gun that fires 3-inch, self-propelled HE shells.
Good for light to medium armor, and even better for anti-infantry.

In 2022, Atida's (pronounced "ah-tid-ah") Navy was desperatly in need of a new weapon to equip their ships with due to the very powerful naval-based invasion force of the country of Reuvia. Because of the sheer number of landing craft, Atida's Department of Defense held a competition on what companies could make the best light cannon for taking them out. In the end, out of 3 companies, K.A.W Co., or Kalibur's Automatic Weaponry Company, won the contract for their Mk. 58X Med. Naval gun.

The other contenders, such as the XM66 Rotary Autocannon chambered in 45x120mm, designed by P.W.T, despite not winning the competition, are, according to inside sources, in develompent.

v1.1: Fixed turret not beign able to aim up or down, and added sights with partial night vision (turn off Depth of Field in settings for it to work).


KAW Co.'s legal team advises that using the Mk. 58 Naval Cannon against infantry may be in violation of the Geneva Convention.
