Description
On June 6, 1944, D-Day, the men of Easy Company had their "rendezvous with destiny" as they jumped into the night sky over Normandy, France.

For Operation Overlord, Easy Company's mission is to capture the entrances to and clear any obstacles around "Causeway 2", a pre-selected route off Utah Beach for the Allied forces landing from the sea a few hours later.

At 2310 of June 5 the C-47s began roaring down the runway. When they reached 1,000 feet, they began to circle, getting into a V of Vs formation. As they straightened out for France through that night, paratroopers had trouble staying awake. Joe Toye did fall asleep on his flight: “I was never so calm in all my life,” he recalled. “Jesus, I was more excited on practice jumps.” On Winters’s plane, Pvt. Joe Hogan tried to get a song going, but it was soon lost in the roar of the motors. On Gordon’s plane, as on most, men were lost in their own thoughts or prayers. Pvt. Wayne Sisk of West Virginia broke the mood by calling out, “Does anybody here want to buy a good watch?” That brought a roar of laughter and a lessening of the tension.

Winters prayed the whole way over, prayed to live through it, prayed that he wouldn’t fail. “Every man, I think, had in his mind, ‘How will I react under fire?’ ”

Thanks a lot! Still working on it to fix some stuff and updates all uniforms, and keeping up with map updates, but I’m getting there

Understandable, it would be nice to see some aircraft at least shot down or something. Realism goes out the window when your C-47 takes 1000rds of AAA and keeps flying. So seeing some being shot down would really help immersion.

Overall though your BoB campaign is my favorite thing in the workshop, I've played through it probably 50 times by now. Keep up the solid work!

good one although I think such effects would stay visible for the whole mission, not super realistic imo

To make this level even more badass and immersive I would love to see a mod for AAA explosions in the air and aircraft being shot down. The workshop mission "D-Day at Ramelle bridge" is a perfect example of what this looks like. That honestly would make this mission go from 10 to 11.

Headgear WW2 mod has not updated their helmet sizes to fit the new facial models. They are overly large. Didnt know if ya knew this.

"thanks for the feedback! this campaign is not meant to be played on axis side, as it's just optimised for allies"
Thanks for the reply MM

Excellent campaign thank you
Works well for the Allies. On the German defence side I noticed the drops
are short of the mark or in one direction only therefore with an MG42 in good position becomes a turkey shoot. Can the drops be programmed to be multi-directional given that the bot AI behaviour
