Size of Life - Vanilla Species

Description
Gives vanilla species randomized heights based on this headcanon:
https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/race-headcanons.123679/

NPCs already generated without this mod but the framework will stay at 100% height, can be changed using the beams and tools added by the framework.

Based on 175cm being 100% height, the size range for the species ar these:
Imperial courtesy of @The Scorpion Kid.
  • Human:
    Min: 150 cm (4'11"), Max: 210 cm (6'11").
  • Apex:
    Min: 183 cm (6'), Max: 228 cm (7'6").
  • Avian:
    Min: 155 cm (5'1"), Max: 167 cm (5'6").
  • Novakid:
    Min: 167 cm (5'6"), Max: 190 cm (6'3").
  • Hylotl:
    Min: 135 cm (4'5"), Max: 160 cm (5'3").
  • Floran:
    Min: 135 cm (4'5"), Max: 244 cm (8').
  • Glitch:
    Min: 174 cm, Max: 177 cm. (5'9")

For Modders
These 2 values control the species size within any "name.species" file.
This mod is not a requirement.
"statusEffects" : [ {"stat" : "bodysizebase", "amount" : 0.9}, //Min starting value (90%) {"stat" : "bodysizerange", "amount" : 0.2} //Max value (90% + 20% = 110%) ]

Uninstalling
Can be freely uninstalled, most NPCs with sizes set by this will probably keep their size.

mod is causing a lot of errors

You can sometimes softlock NPCs on platforms when used in conjunction with Better Platform Falling
This is particualarly annoying in Avian artifact mission where my guy will just get stuck on first set of stairs in the basement, so you cant progress
Restarting can work sometimes? I am assuming size diviates a little letting them walk though i guess walking with resize tablet seems to be best bet

Great mod tho glad you can manage stuff on the fly even when smth goes wrong ^^

If you can get the effects apply based on gender, it would work.

dose it being in a name file mean i cane give both males and females different heights?

I'd appreciate it. I sent a friend request

It is both, the player isn't affected until the first time they open the size tablet (This is for uninstalling purposes)

I'm going to check if it's because there is a mod that loads those status effects, I know it is FRackin Races.
I can also test your species files if you want.

Does the name.species file mean your character that you create, or NPCs that spawn? I'm trying to add height variation for modded NPCs and adding them to the species files doesn't work.

@Degostorm: I'm sorry, I wrote the description wrong...

@Perishati: It would work on any race as long as they have a config file, this specific mod only contains vanilla races. Also, yes, the framework is needed.
