Description:

This might as well be a total conversion mod. I don't recommend it for players looking to add variety to an already existing career game. It will break stuff for those people. It's not designed for career to begin with.

The mod is designed to make PvP matches look and feel more like Holywood style fleet battles, inspired by the likes of Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars and Warhammer 40k, using a vanilla cosmoteer part asthetic. If you want to try it out I strongly recommend joining our small community on Discord to participate in regular games. Here is the link: Discord[discord.gg]

Dependencies
This mod requires certain dependencies to function correctly. Please ensure they are installed and loaded. You can find and subscribe to all necessary dependencies via The Broadsiders Collection on the Steam Workshop.

It is also important to note that this very likely won't be compatible with other mods that edit vanilla weapons and parts.

Features
This mod adds a variety of parts to the game, keeping with a vanilla+ theme:

- Macrocannons: When a large cannon isn't large enough. Features three unique ammo types and custom artwork.
- Torpedo Launchers: For those moments when nukes just aren't big enough.
- Large Culverin: Longer-range cannons, designed thinner to allow more guns on a ship's broadside.
- Fighter Drones: Designed to shoot down other drones (yes broadsiders has giant drone dogfights).
- Standard Autocannon: A fast firing dual barreled side mounted turret weapon with a toggle that allows it to shoot at the enemy roof layer.
- Scattergun: A fast firing dual barreled shotgun with multiple different ammo types and roof shred capability.

- TWcash: Regular contributor. Lead Artist.
- Feuerhai: Regular contributor. Coder and artist.
- Wolfram: Broadsiders logo ship and UI elements for macrocannon ammo types.
- Sadfox: Torpedo Launcher sprites.
- Roasted: Macrocannon sprites.
- janiTNT: Integrated drones.
- JFJohnny5: Light armor assets.
- RustyDios: Torpedo blueprint asset.

All assets from the Broadsiders mod are free to copy and reuse in any way you desire. If you want to fork this mod you are welcome to do so. If in exchange I can make a request, keep whatever fork you make opensource also.

@LemonDropz, I don't mind if you want to make a version with targeting back on. Mod is open source. Go for it! It's not very hard to do.

It actually doesn't. You need you use all the dependencies. This mod is not standalone.

the game wont load the mod and crashes on restaring
