Description
The original Simple Extended Character Creation mod is one that's essentially perfect for me, since it doesn't add an excessive amount of empty slots nor changes anything about the vanilla character creator UI itself, exactly what I want from a character extender!

Unfortunately it has a couple issues in it, namely that you can't hover over the first row of modded races to get their descriptions, and that it's modded species label looks kind of ugly since it uses the game's old font. So to that end I made this new and improved version of the mod, which resolves both issues.

Credits: Xankek for the original mod and its character creator UI sprite.

@rrichard2 Ah, glad to hear that you resolved it, oddly enough I wasn't able to find any errors that could have anything to do with the character creator, but ah well

I removed the mods causing the errors and seems to have fixed it now.

@rrichard2 go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage and copy the contents of your starbound.txt to pastebin and link your paste of the log to me

@rrichard2 That's rather odd, perhaps you could share with me your most recent logs? That might help me figure out what's preventing race extender mods from working for you.

I am so confused I have been trying all of these race extender mods and none of them work for some reason, even though I don't have any other extenders. I don't even have FU

@Redwave nope, this is meant to work independently to the original mod, are you sure you're not using any other character extender mods that may override this one? Or are you just getting the vanilla character creation screen? Your log may be helpful here even if it's reporting that this mod is loading

Does this require the original mod? The .log file says this loads but the modded species panel does not show in-game.
