Description
Parts Unknown is a REFORGED EDEN 2; Starter-CV Carrier, Laser miner, Factory, Exploration, and Light-Combat Capital Ship. The ship is an all-in-one Mobile Base of operations.

The Parts unknown was designed to fill your need for multiple mid-game roles as a very adept Laser miner, Ship-carrier, SV/Hv Carrier, Full Factory production ship w/ 4 Constructors, and this ship has been lightly armored for smaller CV to CV combat, the Parts will take on a Sunat if required and handled properly. You have forward decoys of all flavors as well as redundant power generation, making the ship difficult to knock out of action without taking sustained damage.

The Parts unknown serves well as an Upgrade starter, you've already built a Small starter CV but you are ready to equip laser drills & expand your new fleet, This ship is ready not just to mine and explore ( accomodates 5x5 Long range radar ) but also to serve as an early-game Carrier for combat-specific Capital Vessels, Small Vessels, and Hover Vessels.

As a Starter and a Carrier you are Well-protected, with Omni-directional Minigun Turret coverage both above and below your decks from 2 Full-size Projectile turrets, as well as a suite of 22 Full-coverage Sentry Turrets, The Parts unknown comes shielded, & is more than a match for a swarm of Planetary or space-based Attack-drones.

Parts Unknown can handle multiple points of expansion, and comes with an additional 5k CPU space for upgrades as a Core1, the ship features seamless upgrading of thrust from Medium all the way to DRIVE thrusters, for which the airframe was built from the beginning, larger shields, more CPU, weapons, generators, and additional turrets can all be accomodated.

Your captains seat is individually oxygenated so any compromise of your hull will not suffocate the pilot, giving you time to finish your engagement and safely exit the playfield to enact repairs. The Parts can equip 9 Manual Weapons or Drills. You will find just 3 or 4 Laser drills on this vessel will give you the equivalent of roughly 8 Mining lasers in RE 1.1.

This ship was very attentively built and pored over for many hours by both myself, and my good friend Shandril, who built the original airframe, decoration and effects on this ship are on another level, par to the best workshop builds out there. Lighting, FX, Sensor suites, the works. The ship includes a Full Bar and Lounge as well as Crew Quarters and Hydroponic Labs. & All of that comes with the standard Admirable steering, speed, ease-of-egress and quality of life design-focus you've come to expect from me.

NOW UPGRADED WITH OVER 1 MILLION Additional storage space, + room for 4 medium turbines, additional drill space, and much much more.

Greatly appreciate the excellent ship, figured extra generators and the basic extendors can go in the area by the thrusters or the other extra room areas in the ship, however where would you put a bigger shield? Or was it designed with improving the compact shield via extenders?

I saved and patiently built my large landing pad so it could spawn... and I'm using this as my first CV on my first RE2 play-through and i don't regret it. Thanks! Great work!

Does anyone have an upgraded version to show the suggested placement of CPU extenders, generators, etc? I'm not quite sure where to place things without making it just a mess. :D

Great ship, used as my first - mid CV mainly used as a mobile base. It does come with way too many sentries (20+) which i just removed after. Could add a food processor at the bar, Love the huge deck which can house 4-5 SV/HVs

Ah ok. Nah that's cool. Could only find them being used in the industrial things so thought my blueprint might have got messed up. Good work dude :)

Its for the Black hole planetarium in your cockpit, remove using the selection tool in creative if you like.

Awesome ship but my blueprint seems to need 2 Water Units. Can't see what they are for other than for the industrial water thing that goes in a base. Any ideas?

Beautiful. The storage was feeling a bit cramped, so this will be a nice addition. Not to mention having turbine placements are always nice.
