Description
[This mission is quite special. Every unit you have, has a purpose, every credit you have, is vital, every engineer is precious, what you sell can be a game changer and finally what you choose to build with what you have will determine if you are victorious or a failure. Think of this as a Challenge room level, but I have made it apart of the campaign. have fun brainstorming, and yes it's tested].

Mission 6:

GDI are ramping up their Harvesting operations in a futile bid to reclaim redeemable areas in Africa. However our interest lies in their Tech Center. They recently uncovered a Crystalised Tiberium shard with unknown properties, radiating a glowing Blue aura and have began researching it. Keep a low profile and sneak into the tech center and retrieve the shard. We already have a Black Hand science team waiting to get to work on it.

Engineers are vital to your success here, be extremely careful with what you decide to capture.

Recon:

The river divides you from the tech center, so you have to find a way across, but keep an eye on the gunboats patrolling it.

GDI's Harvesting operations are spread out across the river and guarded by Towers. You'll have to take out their power before you explore the south properly. We have a couple of Artillery guns across the river waiting escort but you'll have to clear a path to the power first, especially find a way to deal with the Boats.

If the harvesting operations are destroyed GDI will investigate in large numbers.

It was great! A hidden gem. Also, I figured it's best to simply access the C&C Workshop via the Steam Overlay to read up on the more descriptive mission objectives than ALT-tabbing and all that jazz.

@Vvolf Thank you. I had originally made that mission as just a separate puzzle mission but decided to include it as a campaign mission for something different

Just finished this mission. It's a really nice map. It's like putting a puzzle together. Really great implementation of modern mission campaign techniques. Too bad there's no save feature in custom single player maps so restarts were mandatory
