"Enjoy" some ridiculously unfair and unfun punishment! Pay the price for powergaming trait points! Vent your impotent disapproval with the downvotes! Don't even dare to think of tracking me down and requesting any changes!



With this mod some of the containers in the world will be locked. Keys will sometimes spawn for these containers, if you can find them, and, if you have a strength of 5 or greater, you can use a Crowbar, or in some cases Bolt Cutters, to open the container.

Using a Crowbar may require multiple attempts before working.

This mod does work with Worse Searching.

As this mod also includes the contents of the Bolt Cutters mod, you do not need to use the Bolt Cutter mod to get the Bolt Cutters.

I have no idea if this mod works with any of the lockpicking mods, but I doubt it. As the intent of this mod is to provide a hardcore experience, making looting and the game harder, I'm not going to implement any compatibility for such.

This is a mod that deliberately increases the difficulty of the game, and as such, is intended for experienced players looking for more of a challenge in their playthroughs. If you are new to Project Zomboid, or are easily confused or frustrated, then for the love of Pete please do not use this mod.



Please note that this mod makes significant changes to the functions used in the ISInventoryPage.lua file, and, as such, will probably not be compatible with any other mods that also do the same.

As this mod involves radical changes to the inventory interface, there may be jank, glitches, or other issues that I missed when making it. Nothing in life is perfect, but if you encounter problems you may simply disable the mod(s) for your save in the interface for loading savegames.

This is one of my favorite mods. My only thing about it was the traditional lock picking methods don't work with this due to this mod doing its own lockpicking, that and Proximity Inventory mod bypasses this mod sadly.
Now I obviously know this isn't the fault of Jen, nor am I being like "this mod is garbage because my specific gripes isn't being worked on" I'm just including my 2 cents on this mod in general. Overall, it's a great mod to add a deeper level of immersion.

im having a incompatibility for some reason, i have many mod, any clue of known issue where the pry open context doesnt apper?
