SMS Nacht

Description
Brief Description:
The SMS Nacht is an early 1900's German Destroyer. Its design is slim with 4 funnels indicating its power at the time. A fun ship to use with friends as it features a fully detailed interior with minimum lag for multiplayer purposes

Startup:
Set Throttle to desired amount (on open bridge)
Turn on Engine coolant (In engine room)
press the Engine on button (in engine room)

Sinking:
To sink the vessel there is a key button to ignite the fuse! Another way to sink it is doing Naval battles against friends and other stormworkers.

Other Remarks:
-engine was built by Spacething which I have used on my other vessels
-Why I made this? I made this because as of recently I have been captivated by the First World War and specifically the Navies of the nations involved. I always felt like Germany has been unfairly targeted as "the bad guys" and thus nearly all ships are British on the workshop. I wanted to make something different that nearly no one offers.
-German Dreadnought plan. I plan on this being a series of German naval ships of which two are already done (SMS Meiningen and this one) Of this three part series only one ship is left for me to make. This is to be a German dreadnought, the largest of the series of vessels.
-Infinite fuel and electric is NOT necessary
-History for the next ship. You might know that I enjoy writing fictional stories about the ships I make. However, I am having a hard time of coming up with new stories. if you have any ideas leave a comment. I want to use the communities Ideas for my ship's history.
-Thank you! The support that my ships get is incredible, and every person who views, subs, and likes shows me that people are interested in the same things as me. Your support is much appreciated - 4GageK

SMS Nacht Lore:
SMS Nacht, one of the most revolutionary ships in the German High seas fleet. In the early 1900s it was one of Germany's most prized vessels. To understand why this ship was so important to Germany and the tragedy of its end we must first establish the scene of Europe in the late 1800's.
In 1870 the North German Confederation unified with the other Germanic states such as Bavaria and Wurttemberg. After fighting and winning the Franco-Prussian war in 1871 Germany fully united creating the German Empire. An empire which would last until 1918, but I'm getting ahead of myself. In 1888 a very ambitious and strong leader came to power in Germany. He is the famed Kaiser Wilhelm II. Kaiser Wilhelm II took great interest in the navy, and specifically competing with the British Royal Navy. This caused the naval arms race in the late 1800's to 1914. In that time each nation was attempting to one up each other. Germany had to break the stalemate and thus the idea of the SMS Nacht was born...
In 1898 Germany was still far behind what the British had achieved. Germany needed to show the world that they were a force to be reckoned with. The German Admiral Felix von Bendemann planned to show the kaiser that he could rival the British Grand Fleet. The Keel for what would be known as the SMS Nacht was layed in April of 1899. The vessel would be nearly 300 feet in length and feature a slim hull built for speed. The designers of the Nacht planned for a 25 knot vessel. This would be vital in securing its safety as the ships armor was rather light and wouldn't be able to compete with other British ships at the time, a fact about the ship that Kaiser Wilhelm would despise, and what would bring the end to the vessel...
In July of 1899 the ship was completed and completed its sea trials with no issues. It was stationed in Papua New Guinea in 1900, and would often do runs between Papua New Guinea and Germany delivering cargo, troops, and other essentials for running a colony. In 1902 SMS Nacht was joined by the much larger SMS Meiningen. During the summer months until 1906 SMS Nacht and SMS Meiningen would often visit Melbourne and Sydney to show its strength. In 1906 the Meiningen left for repairs and would not return to Papua New Guinea. Rather, the Nacht would be accompanied by SMS Scharnhorst. The SMS Nacht's story so far would seem uneventful, but little did the crew of her know that In a few months their Ship would be at the bottom of the Atlantic...
In 1914 the Outbreak of World War One caused the SMS Nacht and the SMS Scharnhorst to group up with other German vessels stationed in the Pacific. The Idea was to return to the German mainland where they would fulfil a more important role of protecting the German coast. Its journey began. In late October the German Squadron would meet the guns of the British, The German ships would seize this opportunity and at the battle of Coronel would sink the British ships, killing thousands. This would be the first British naval loss in over 100 years. The SMS Nacht was a vital unit in the Squadron and would be the leading ship until it entered the vicinity of the Falkland Islands where it would meet its fatal end. In the battle the German fleet would be split in two with the Nacht and other destroyers being chased by the British. SMS Nacht would take many shells to her hull causing holes and deck fires before it eventually sank. The British would sink the entire German squadron, the SMS Nacht being the final ship to fall to the wrath of Great Britain. Its sinking killed all 400 men. On the dark December night the SMS Nacht's story came to an end.
The SMS Nacht couldn't withstand the British guns and was unable to defend itself against the most Powerful Navy. However its story inspired many Germans to enlist in the Navy and would be a part of history remembered for generations

I would make another ship, almost finished my dreadnought even. But I think the game has changed too much. I am not a fan of the devs making it easy to add modded parts, it takes the fun out of building ships if every piece is already made.

Make more german ships please, you could do a super-dreadnought.

That is the kind of ship I was wanting to make! I want to make a dreadnought that isn't too large.
