Vanilla Gondola Overhaul: BNSF and Predecessors

Recently, I was inspired by fellow creator fatfluffycat to take a look at pre-existing models and see how they can be reshaped or edited to create new cars. One such car I realized needed some TLC was the vanilla gondola. Kind of awkwardly large and not the best car the vanilla game has to offer in terms of visual aspects, I decided to make some changes to it.

The gondola is loosely based on the havelock shops built gondolas in addition to other similar gondolas of the 1960s and 70s manufacture era. I compressed the gondola mesh to better reflect this in addition to replacing the trucks and couplers (thanks to Meatballhero) and adding extra detail meshes to create the fluting design.

This base mod comes with 5 skins.

ATSF (Fluted/Quality) 1960 onwards
BN 1960 onwards
ex BN BNSF 1995 onwards
BNSF non-fluted 1995 onwards
BNSF fluted 1995 onwards

Unlike the vanilla model, these gondolas only carry coal, ore, and stone. No grain.

This mod requires both base set and bettendorf trucks to work correctly. Be sure to install and activate those in addition to this mod.
