Description








Enhanced Beliefs will overhaul how ideologies work and affect pawn relationships, bringing more depth into your settlements. (and even allowing stable multi-ideology colonies)









This mod is for 1.5 only and is unsafe to add or remove mid-save. Only known incompatibility is Peer Pressure, which will break conversion speeds.

@church.exe would also be cool for a ritual to go along with that, which converts a number of your colony to the reformed ideology. top quality would convert your whole religion, with good quality converting maybe 50-75%, bad quality converting only a few, and horrible only your moral leader

This might be too big of a thing to add, but it'd be interesting if when an ideology is 'reformed' instead it just creates a new version of that ideology, (presumably applied to whoever your ideology's moral leader is) and then that person has to 'convert' the other members of your colony over to it. (which, if the beliefs are significantly different, would be hard since their opinion of the 'new' ideology would be low)

It doesn't make a lot of sense how one day your entire colony can think cannibalism is abhorrent, only to hold a town meeting and decide, "y'know what, we all suddenly believe cannibalism is good now".

It'd mean if you wanted to do a major ideology shift instead you'd want to slowly shift beliefs over a series of different smaller reformations instead, because you couldn't convince your colony to switch if you just did one large reformation.
