You do not need to download this mod and the original at the same time. Please support the original page instead of this one.

Most recent update replaced the mod's DIY menu with the new and wonderful PickOption menus. I tested all scenarios I could within reason and did not run into crashes. Please share any issues if you encounter them.

@Karlsson <3 Thanks I really appreciate it! I maintain these mods for the exact reason you mention: I wanted to use them on the modern game. Most of the time resurrecting a mod takes an afternoon and a tiny bit of programming knowledge, I recommend it!

@(bad joke goes here) the mod attaches to the "BuyRandomMutation" class meaning it will only run when you spend 4 mutation points on a random mutation and pick the bonus limb option. I am currently bracing for 1.0, but once I finish updating all my mods I will write a patch adding the limb selection screen as a wish and (configurable) reward for eaters nectar injectors or possibly cooking. I make no promises on this happening quickly.

Is there a wish I can do to trigger the acquisition of a new part with this mod? The "chimericpart" wish attaches a part randomly like in the base game. (Mod still works when acquiring new mutations by spending 4 MP, but I prefer use wishes to pick a mutation and remove the 4 MP rather than gambling.)

You're the GOAT. Thank you very much for doing this. 99% of the time across every moddable game I play, abandoned mods remain abandoned and break eventually... this is one of those rare times somebody fixes and maintains them. Thank you!:steamthumbsup:
