Dead Eddy's Squad: Revisioned [Custom Story Campaign]

Description
Eddy and his squad showing no mercy to those who oppose them. Tasked to bring the Leviathan (Mental's Harvester Ship) to Zone 6 Facility for researching purposes. Things don't go as planned. Although the squad is ready for anything. While rest the story will be told on how their destinies will shape.

[PROJECT DES:REV]
There was an old workshop item of mine named Dead Eddy's Squad. It's still there but it's hidden due the fact that i thought it did not appeal as a project that could show something new. Poor effort cutscenes and bad lightning and geometry design of the level layouts caused various of odd things to happen which did not appeal to many. In this one however "DES:REV" Is a slight jump in quality control which offers original remixes, tracks playing during tense battles. New way of telling the story with sudden change progressions in the story line as well as Serious Difficulty Tested Sessions. Which means for those who have a death wish can enjoy their game the way developer suffered by testing if it's beatable or not. Although again this project is not perfect. It pushes Serious Engine to its limits causing massive frame drops so it is recommended to play this with lower settings. My Steam Deck on low settings manages to go from 24fps to 46fps at times. Not always. My Laptop with RTX3080 Max q jumps from 25fps to 55fps on Ultra Settings. That's how terrible the optimization is but putting that into consideration is because the maps have over 14k models. Quite intensive task for the Engine. Terribly sorry i do not recommend playing this if you are a Frame Fanatic. I personally don't mind low fps. So again it's hard to tell because i have no one to test this mod with in Multiplayer Sessions.

[BEFORE YOU PLAY]
If you do not like heavy music, if you do not enjoy intensive linear gameplay i do not advise to play this mod. It's all about shooting straight, joining the dance with the dead and of course swarm of enemies in one place.

[KNOWN ISSUES]
-Optimization (Yes i know it's problematic and i have no idea how to fix them as i tried plenty of methods
-Floating objects (In some levels i might have accidentally left a floating object. Could be a signature of my own design)

{FOR MULTIPLAYER SESSIONS}
I did not test this in Multiplayer therefore i do not know what to expect. Feel free to report your issues with the Multiplayer but it'll be tough to fix them as i will be going in blind.

@YeKeaROCK&GamePlayer 2025 No problem, thank you for the comments. You'll most likely see DSOPM one day, that I can promise if the Engine of this game wont corrupt the world files. I'm being extra careful with DSOPM and it may take a while for it to see the light of day.

@YeKeaROCK&GamePlayer 2025 Can't promise when but I do have plans for DSOPM. It will return in more modernized way. It's there in my Project files at the moment but it's in no way close to finish.

I understand your difficulties with the SE, I don't know why and don't think that I demand or ask anything from you, if you don't mind returning ONLY the mappack campaign "DSOPM", I just liked it the most and if you're not going to return it, then an updated version of how you made the campaign under which I wrote and if it's not needed, why not a new campaign, but with the same Persian architecture as "DSOPM"? "DSOPM" reminded me of the same ep. "Persepolis" from TSE and user maps and mappacks, but inverted which is filled with your unusual atmosphere and in the spirit of the Classics, just nostalgia for childhood, I don't care about criticism of your work, because I am ifn't THE ONLY ONE connoisseur of your work!:bombsmile:

YeKeaROCK&GamePlayer 2025 Thank you for the comment. Sorry to say there wont be any maps from me because of Serious Editor corrupting my projects. The only thing that I am working on is Project Never Alone. It is AI Bots mod for Serious Sam 4, TFE, TSE, BFE all together. Thank you for playing and thank you for writing the comment.

And finally, I think that you made the initial versions of maps and mappacks as a working developments or as a draft in my opinion and assumption, but I can be wrong and be unright, so what am I getting at? What you did before, the first creations, you learned and accumulated experience in this way, and then deleted them so asn't to be subjected to harsh criticism, but most of your creations in fact had terrible optimization, from which the story of SS4 can compete. I don’t know why and no, I don’t demand to return the old mappacks and maps, but to update them like with this mappack under which I wrote, it’s just that your mappack “DSOPM” has improved my soul more than the others and even if you don’t update the old creations, you can make them anew and even better! I remember you and your unusual creativity of maps and mappacks in the style of psychedelia or wandering fantasies under el. music, I still remember writing under the previous mappack having positively appreciated the Persian architecture from TSE and combining such a style, which I ONLY remembered by heart - "Dark Side of Persian Mechanism", which is a pity that you deleted as well as the rest of the work and I can understand why: because of the mediocre level of design and criticism of most who didn't particularly appreciate your work, I also noticed under which I wrote your updated mappack, that the same mappack of yours had an old version, unfortunately I didn't have time to go through and only tested and put it off for later

@Mike Uchiha Last thing to check is did you pick up Rage Items? After you kill the Witch cutscene will play. At times it wont teleport you to where the items are so make sure you pick up any health, special items such as rage and medkit syringes. This triggers the event. I have no idea why is not working for you. I double checked the scripts and they're all fine. During my tests on both Steam Deck, Main Game, Serious Editor, all worked fine.
