Thanks for that. I will keep it in mind. With regards to the B1 it was used on the ocassion mentioned oln the following DVD from Video 125. http://www.video125.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=steam&PN=Steam_Through_The_Scottish_Highlands.html#assd

It's the version from Western Lines of Scotland. The sounds from that version are my favourite and that's why I chose to use that over the rest of them. So no, they're not from Steam Sounds Supreme (would also be some sort of copyright infringement I would expect if I included them). To the best of my knowledge a B1 has never hauled the Jacobite. A K1 (Lord of the Isles) is the more usual tranction on it and they are very similar in appearance. A Black 5 is used on the afternoon trip during the summer or if the K1 is not available.

That was brilliant. I was thinking of swapping the Black 5, but am most pleased I never, what a great version of this iconic loco. Wheel slip, smoke effects, whistle, all very immersing. I had just watched a DVD on The Jacobite, where it was headed by a Thompson B1. But once again that Black 5 was just the ticket, which version was it and were the sounds from Steam Sounds Supreme?
