Veterans of dealing with aliens create veterans of dealing with marines.

- Doors can now take melee damage.
- Flamer requirement disabled.
- Biomass can now be ignited with flares.
- Grenade Launcher's grenade arc no longer bends upward over railings.
- All IAF veterans know better than to recklessly fire Flamers at friendlies: Any attempts to ignite teammates with a Flamer would lead to the attacker's immediate termination (after a warning).
- Health bars enabled.


The challenge consists of the following alien types:

- 150% maximum health / 156HP on Brutal.
- Is 30% more vulnerable to explosive damage.
- Deals 250% damage.
- Applies stun to target.

- 350% maximum health / 364HP on Brutal.
- Has 30% resistance against explosive damage.
- Immune to afterburn.

- 300% maximum health / 312HP on Brutal.
- Has 30% resistance against explosive damage.
- Avoids attacking marines directly.
- Attempts to flee when without support from other drones.
- Buffs up to 5 other nearby aliens.
- Buff grants 50% resistance against all damage.
- Buff grants 50% resistance against explosive damage (75% total resistance).
- Cannot buff any aliens when fully frozen.
- Cannot buff themselves or other Support Drones.
- Cannot buff Giant Boomers.

- 200% maximum health / 524HP on Brutal.
- Projectiles would lasso their targets toward them.
- Is 30% more vulnerable to explosive damage.
- Immune to afterburn.

- 200% maximum health / 4160HP on Brutal.
- Does not self-destruct upon deploying bombs.
- Melee attack deals significant explosive fire damage.
- Bombs deal lethal damage.
- Has 50% resistance against explosive damage.
- 50% speed.

- Harder spawn rules.
- Uber Drone knockdown.

- Includes all Threat 2 settings.
- Harder spawn rules than Threat 2.
- All destructible doors have a chance to be pre-welded.

- Carnage 2.
- Double-sided onslaught.
