Description
Guide your team of Survivors out of the downtown core of Newburg's business district, through derelict office floors and still-inhabited cubicles, and out onto the runway of Metro International Airport, where the only thing standing between you and the last plane out of the city is a murderous army of the undead.



A new challenging experience to L4D1M: Dead Air. Originally, the first version of L4D1M: No Mercy back in 2020 had a Mega Mobs Edition for a short period of time but wasn't finished so it was taken down. Now it is back, this time for Dead Air.

Features: 2024 Co-Op/Realism: • The common infected limit is increased from 30 to 100 • Standard horde sizes increased from 10-30 to 100-120 common infected • Mega mob horde sizes increased from 50 to 200 common infected • Panic event horde sizes average between 100-200 common infected • Finale waves mob sizes increased from 20 to 100 • Average 600+ infected kills per level (team total) • Average 40+ special infected kills per level (team total) • Survivors will respawn in closets with their previous Tier 2 weapons (Co-Op only) • Survivors can shove infected faster (to deal with high common limit) • There is a maximum of 8 Special Infected allowed to be spawned at once • There is a maximum of 4 dominator Special Infected during panic events • Special Infected respawn every 15 seconds • Special Infected respawn every 10 seconds during panic events • Car Alarms now trigger onslaughts and will not shut off, you will have to fight to the saferoom if they are triggered Versus: • Player special infected can respawn faster • A few dynamic map changes to allow more infected spawn positions 2022 • L4D1 Common Infected sounds • L4D1 Horde howl when activating panic events • L4D1 Special Infected sounds, with some unused tracks added • Tank music now randomly chooses between the regular and metal version • Edit to the garage on '3: The Construction Site', now you can access the roof • Added background decoration of the previous and next levels • Car alarms now use their own script, they are more dangerous. They can be activated from any distance and increase the common limit to 100 during the horde. Try to avoid them! • Removed the cooldown for performing shoves, the penalty did not exist in L4D1 • Added directional lighting to ‘5: Runway Finale’. The L4D1 or L4D2 versions do not have it. (If you wondered why that map looked dark or dull that is the cause) • Original map layouts (buildings and paths) • Nicer looking control tower, now you can see it from every map • Plane crash on the finale is now triggered randomly • Buffed Miniguns - they are now more accurate and deal a lot of damage, especially to Tanks! They are also somewhat more powerful in L4D1 • The Last Stand update L4D population • New L4D1 themed hint system for panic events and rescue activation • Some original L4D1 models • Improved lighting • Enabled wind on all exterior cables such as phone poles (they're originally static) • Timed hordes will always spawn ahead rather than behind

Only subscribe to ONE version of L4D1M: Dead Air at a time. All versions use the same files, and will conflict.

I suggest you also disable any demanding addons such as HD improvements to prevent game crashes.

I do not recommend playing this campaign on a 'Best Available Dedicated' server as some can be heavily modded and greatly interfere with gameplay.

Well I can do the 1st and last map on Advanced and I think I can do 4 too, but the middle parts I had to turn difficulty down to Normal cuz JFC that's a lotta shit to deal with. XD

If it was just a lot of horde it would be manageable, but the double-Special Infected spawns are the real problem for me. I swear I've seen/heard 3 of the same kind in play at once, and 3 Spitters is the worst thing when trying to camp out these hordes in a corner or small room. I was only able to get past map 2's crane event because 3 bile bombs spawned in the nearby apartment, so I barely managed to nope my way back to the safe room. :P

okay, problem is not with the Alma F.E.A.R. addon, but i install Valve's Missing Content Fix Official - and it worked :D
