Crab Pot - Crab Fishing Update

Description
This is a Crab Pot designed to work with the Crab fishing Update.

Features:
-Grab Pot to catch Crabs and eventually Lobsters
-Orange Bouy with Spotlight, Transponder, GPS Sender etc.

How to set up:
-Set Frequency for GPS Sender
-Paint Frequency on Bouy
-Note Frequency to find it later
-Load Bouy on Ship

How to launch the Pot:
-Make sure it has enough Charge
-Make sure the Bouy is connected to the Pot
-Move the Pot Hauler out of the Way
so that it doesnt block the Launcher
-Place the Pot on the Launcher using the Crane
-Activate Winch Down once the Pot is on the Launcher
-"Bait" the Pot once its on the Launcher (not possible in SW)
-Launch the Pot in desired Location that ideally is max. 80 meters deep.

How to retrieve the Pot:
-Get next to the Pot and use the Pot Hauler winch to hook with a Electric Connector on it... or
-If close enough just grab a Rope and connect
-Use the Pot Hauler (Winch) next to the Launcher to get the Pot out
-Open the Pot on the Launcher towards the Deck and release Crabs
-Sort Crabs and load them into the Crab Tank

How to use:
1-Baiting: Fishermen typically bait the crab pots with fish guts, chicken necks, or other smelly substances to lure crabs inside.

2-Deployment: The crab pots are lowered into the water, usually in areas with known crab populations, and left on the Oceanfloor to soak for a few hours or overnight.

3-Entrapment: Crabs are attracted to the bait and enter the pot through a funnel-shaped entrance. Once inside, they can't escape due to the pot's design.

4-Retrieval: Fishermen haul in the crab pots, often using a hydraulic winch to lift them back onto the boat.
Sorting: The caught crabs are then sorted by size, gender, and species, and any bycatch (unwanted species) is released back into the water.

5-Storage: The harvested crabs are stored in holding tanks or containers filled with seawater to keep them alive until they reach the market.

It's a labor-intensive process that requires skill, patience, and knowledge of the ocean and crab behavior. Your Stormworks crab pot design has been an impressive virtual representation of this real-world fishing technique!

Update: changed the Procedure of launching and retrieving the Pot to make it more clear how it works.

Update: Water Sensor now in Bouy, to make it easier to load and unload Pots, i added manual Winch up/down, the Bouys are now activated when the Winch down Button is on.

How do you recieve the pots again? the winch don´t go up when i recieve the buoi

Update: Added automatic Rope Winching, it now winches the Rope down if it detects Water and up if it doesnt detect Water, making the Rope more or less long.

If y'all wish for a Crab Pot with a bigger Rope Lenght on the Bouy, i can make another Crab Pot with a bigger Bouy that can fit a bigger Winch if the Demand for it is there, just let me know.

It however might look a bit off with the bigger Bouy though.

I could see someone making a Mod for the Depth and Areas of Crab Species, i would imagine that it wont be too complex to make.

Update:
-Extended the max. lenght of the Rope to 80 m. so the Bouy will stay on the Surface if the Ocean Floor isnt deeper then 80 m
-The Bouys Bouyancy has been improved, the Bouy is now more visible on the Ocean Surface

awesome, good to hear! i dont terribly mind only having to pot shallower areas tbh, i kinda hope eventually the game distinguishes by crab type/lobster and has the different species set to the biologically correct depths and temps. kings are deeper and in the arctic biome, dungeoness by the islands and shallower, it'd be super neat.

Yes ive caught quite some Crabs and Lobsters so far but if the Water is too deep the Bouys dont reach the Top, expect Updates in the Next Days that might fix that Issue though.
