Description
This mod adds 2 buttons to the main menu, 1 to go to the xenotype editor and 1 to go to the ideology editor.

Forked and recompiled for Rimworld 1.5 and Anomaly, hopefully getting rid of the useless error popups and the ideology screen not working sometimes. VFE Empire might still throw a one-time red error in your log if the ideology screen is opened, but this is harmless. Please direct any complaints to the VE team. This might not actually be a VE issue, but I can't really be bothered to look into it since it only pops up in dev mode and is otherwise harmless.

Requires both Biotech and Ideology.

@Hunter-K13 I don't see why not to be honest. Seems like a good idea, it would just add an extra button but I guess it's not a problem if it's an optional separate mod.

I'm getting back into Rimworld so update soon unless someone else already does it. Here's to maybe actually fixing the ideology edit button

It doesn't for me? The saving doesn't seem to work right i can make xenotypes but when i click save nothing happens

This mod works fine on 1.6 but only for the xenotype button, ideology button currently does nothing but give you an error

Could you just make a separate mod to handle VRE Androids?

I think C# is perfectly fine and I have a lot of experience with it. I just can't be bothered to figure out how to get my mod to reference VRE Androids, and then get the mod to still load even if the user doesn't have VRE Androids installed. Reflection breaks with Prepatcher and the other solutions are worse.

@Wolf653 unlikely. Optional mod compatibilities in C# code scare me, and I have yet to find a good canonical solution for this. I would like to do it but code-wise I just can't figure out a way to have my mod refer to code inside VRE Androids without needing the mod as a hard dependency.

something i am wondering is there any consideration for VRE - Androids so i can access the editor more conveniently without having to get to the character select screen first?
