Description

This mod adds new options for Poland in "Election of Casimir" event.

Besides lithuanian/local noble you can choose from:

Mazovia – Bolesław IV of Warsaw – A Piast duke with support from nobles favoring a native ruler to limit Jagiellonian power. However, his regional influence was too limited for a serious bid
Silesia – duke Bolko V and other Silesian Piast dukes were considered due to their Piast lineage, appealing to factions favoring a native Polish dynasty
Brandenburg – Albert Achilles – as the Margrave of Brandenburg and elector, Albert Achilles had strong dynastic ties and political influence within the Holy Roman Empire. His candidacy was supported by factions seeking to strengthen connections with the Empire, especially among pro-German nobles in Royal Prussia and Greater Poland
Hungary – Ladislaus the Posthumous – king of Hungary and Bohemia, and a member of the Habsburg dynasty, he was a candidate for the Polish throne after Varna. As Władysław III’s cousin, his claim was supported by factions favoring strong ties with Hungary. His candidacy aimed to create a powerful Central European union under Habsburg influence as it used to be

Alternative Paths

(but inspired by history)
Austria – Frederick III of Habsburg – Holy Roman Emperor and candidate for the Polish throne after Varna, backed by pro-German factions. He invoked Otto III’s legacy of a united Christian Europe to justify integrating Poland into the Holy Roman Empire, aiming to expand Habsburg influence eastward
Papal candidate – the powerful bishop of Kraków, Oleśnicki, initially opposing Casimir IV and exploring alternatives to increase the Church’s and nobility’s power

@Alpharion Great, the requirements to get this event are same as in vanilla so you may ally Lithuania (or anyone) freely and you will get the event anyway

I guess I should not have allied Lithuania. I tried to reload my save before the event triggered and I got the options. Thanks!

@Alpharion play as Poland from 1444 bookmark and just wait from a month up to few years
