TRA SPK32700 Pack

Introduction:
The Taiwan Railway 35SPK32700 series steel-bodied passenger cars were procured by Taiwan Railway from Niigata Engineering, Kinki Sharyo, and Fuji Heavy Industries in Japan in 1970. They were the last batch of none air-conditioning passenger cars for express trains introduced by Taiwan Railway, with a total of 100 cars imported.

An additional 50 cars were modify with air conditioning and converted into 35SPK2300 type carriages. Originally planned for use on the Tze-Chiang Limited Express trains and priced accordingly, they were met with passenger resistance. Consequently, the fare system reverted to that of regular and express trains, and they were repurposed for use as "Air-Conditioned Ordinary Express" trains.

Currently,some cars converted for use as engineering camp cars.
