Deep Explorer 1.4.0.1.0

Description
Questions likely to be asked
What exactly is this ship good at?
Exploring planets and deep space; this ship has four jump drives and enough fuel, oxygen and batteries for your long explorations into deep space. It has one ore detector, one assembler, one medical room, two simple refineries, seven O2/H2 Generators, and also a large reactor just in case. This ship is also useful to transport materials from ground to space, it has a button to activate the "Ascending" sequence, which makes the ship automatically ascend from surface gravity to space while saving as much fuel as it can.

What exactly is this ship bad at?
Combat! Never use this ship for combat, because it is optimized only for exploration, and also transport.

Does this ship fly well in planet's gravity?
Yes, it does!

Do I need any mod?
You do not.

Does this ship use scripts?
Yes! Programmable blocks for radar and status.
Radar Guide:
Planet Map 3D.

Does it have jump drive?
Yes, 4 jump drives!

Is this ship's design inspired by a specific ship from a movie/game...?
No, I just wanted a compact ship for long exploration and transport.

About the ship
Take notice that there is a button called 'Safe Landing' which is very useful for automatically landing on a planetary surface. All you have to do is align this ship with the horizon near the surface and then press the 'Safe Landing' button. Immediately after you press it, the ship will automatically descend while maintaining a safe velocity of 1 to 2 m/s until the landing gears touch the ground. The Safe Landing System will automatically reset once it detects that any of the landing gears is locked. The Safe Landing System was specifically designed to land on a planetary surface already near the ship, therefore, you shouldn't use it in space in order to descend upon a planet.
The 'Ascending' button works in the same way, but in the direction of space. All you have to do is align the ship with the horizon, press the 'Prepare Ascending' button, and then 'Engage Ascending.' The ship will automatically ascend while maintaining a velocity of 99.00 m/s to save fuel during the process. Once the ship reaches space (zero gravity), it will automatically reset the Ascending System and stop moving. In other words, you can engage the Ascending System and leave your chair to drink a coffee without worrying because, when you return, the ship will be in space waiting for you!

There is a Collision Warning System with two layers of activation: If any object gets within 50 meters from this ship, you will hear one alarm sound. If it gets too close, you will hear another alarm sound. You can press 'key 5' on the first toolbar in order to stop the alarm every time that it goes off.

I recommend to use the first toolbar's 'key 9' to dock or undock from your station: You can really trust the docking timer block, because it will always guarantee that all systems are nominal whenever you dock and undock!

ChangeLog:
Update 29 May 2024 - v1.0.6.4
An issue was solved where, if the ship was carrying enough weight in its cargo containers, the Ascending System would initially fail to accelerate the ship upwards. Consequently, the ship would begin to fall down for a short period of time, which could cause it to crash on the ground if the Ascending Button was pressed while the ship was too close to the ground. Now, when the Ascending Button is pressed, two timer blocks, uniquely dedicated to the bottom thrusters, will be immediately triggered so that the bottom thrusters instantly reach full throttle.

Update 1 Jun 2024 - v1.1.0.0
One collector and one grinder were added to the front of the ship, because during explorations, one can encounter things to be grinded and things to be collected. Both the collector and the grinder have a top mounted camera, so that you can better aim at what you will collect or grind.
Light armor blocks, with hazard armor skin at the bottom of the ship, were replaced by sloped lcd panels and inset lcd panels, in order to be a better danger sign about the bottom thrusters. These lcds will be automatically turned on when any of the landing gears is locked, and the same lcds will be automatically turned off once the landing gears are unlocked.
One more searchlight was added to the bottom of the ship, and both searchlights had their idle movement turned off, so that you can be more easily aware of the ship's surroundings.
Both gatling turrets are now set to target power systems.
The bridge lights were tweaked to better illuminate the bridge.

Update 5 Jun 2024 - v1.1.9.2
Four small thrusters were added to the bottom of the ship.
Four more sloped lcd panels and four more inset lcd panels have replaced eight armor blocks at the bottom of the ship.
Both gatling turrets are now set to target weapons.
The control seat's toolbar has been tweaked.
Ten hydrogen engines have been added into the ship.
Now when the ship is below two hundred meters of altitude, the outside lcds will automatically be turned on, the same lcds continue to automatically be turned on when any of the landing gears is locked.

Update 11 Jun 2024 - v1.1.9.9
An informative lcd was added into the bridge with relevant information about the ship's transport capacity.
An event controller was added into the ship in order to turn the large reactor on, in case the first battery gets below 1%. This will also turn all batteries off after the large reactor is on, in order to avoid wasting uranium energy by recharging the batteries. The large reactor will be automatically turned off and the batteries turned on if you either dock the ship using the docking timer block (which resets everything) or recharge the first battery above 1% (because you manually turned it on to recharge).
A 'corner lcd flat bottom' was added to the bridge so that you will know if the large reactor is automatically turned on by the event controller; the 'corner lcd flat bottom' will also be turned on together with the large reactor if the first battery gets below 1%.

Update 11 Jun 2024 - v1.1.9.9.1
Corrections have been done to the informative lcd's text.

Update 13 Jun 2024 - v1.2.0.0.0
The two large gatling turrets were replaced by custom gatling turrets.
One event controller was added into the ship in order to guarantee that the bridge's rotating light isn't accidentally turned on.

Update 21 Jun 2024 - v1.2.7.1.6
Two brand new highly advanced custom rail turrets were added to the ship.
Two programmable blocks were added into the ship to help with the rail turrets' fire sequence system.
Both rail and gatling turrets are set to target power systems.
Many tweaks have been made in the timer blocks and more.

Update 23 Jun 2024 - v1.2.7.3.4
A rocket launcher was added to the ship.
Some tweaks have been made in the timer blocks and more.

Update 25 Jun 2024 - v1.3.0.0.0
A Control Station block, specifically for dealing with the GPS system, was added into the bridge, so now it's easier to configure the settings of the GPS program.
Two brand new Corner LCD Flat Bottoms, one to inform when the hydrogen engines are online, and other to inform when the large reactor is online, were added into the bridge (two event controllers were added into the ship).
The toolbars are better organized now.
Some tweaks have been made in the timer blocks and more.

Update 25 Jun 2024 - v1.3.0.0.1
A text mistake in a button panel has been fixed.
A blinking feature was added to the railguns' blue lights for the initial charging.
