Normal Gravity for Supper's Combat Overhaul

Description
Intended as a partner mod to this one.

Supper's Combat Overhaul increases both the player's "jumpSpeed" value and "gravityMultiplier" value in an effort to make combat less floaty. This is a bit of a problem, because not only are other mods that affect these stats balanced around the vanilla values, but the change alone makes it extremely easy to die of fall damage.

As is usually the case with these things, someone made a patch to restore jump speed to the original value. This meant you couldn't complete the Pulse Jump obstacle course without climbing tools like rope because the gravity wasn't reverted to normal. Which also meant if you had Alpha Details installed, big planets were nearly impossible to traverse due to the insane gravity. Oops.

This mod solves that issue by patching the player character's "gravityMultiplier" value to a more reasonable 1.1, as opposed to SCO's 2. It's not the original value of course, but it's just a bit less floaty without straying too far from vanilla gravity. Please feel free to call me a moron if it makes any jumps impossible.

Compatibility
This should theoretically work with any mod configuration, since it only patches a single line in player.config that most mods don't even touch. And due to how patch operations function it shouldn't even do anything if you have no other mods that change the player gravity multiplier.

Works with FU?
No. But for real this time, because Supper's Combat Overhaul is incompatible with it, and that's what you should be using with this mod.

Wow,i didn't expect my mod to get even a bit of an attention, let alone a complementary mod from someone that knows what they're doing! I don't really play this game anymore, but this community's perseverance to make a clunky forgotten mess fun is nothing short of inspiring :)

I'd love to use Supper's Combat Overhaul, I just wish it wouldn't break so many mods. :suzusad:
