i generally like this Game , but

it should be long enough , that you cannot reach the top intime ,
so that the "highest" should win

Everyone can reach the Top with no sweat before the Time is over.
With like 20seconds on the clock.

so maybe a bit longer , and do some obstacles outside of the Tower for more Variety / DIfficulty .
