• An experimental thermal artifact powerplant
  Using a cutting edge (for 1900) Water tube boiler design the Cain harnesses the apparently limitless thermal energy of a thermal artifact, giving it virtually unlimited range.
  
  However the free energy comes at a cost, without careful management of the firebox the massive boiler is more than capable of rapidly melting the sub's entire electrical grid into molten slag and immolating anyone unfortunate enough to be in the aft end of the sub.
  Watch the battery percentage carefully and take immediate action to prevent overvolting.
  
  
• An Overvoltage Arrestor
  Automatically dumps excess power in the grid into a sacrificial waste capacitor to prevent overvoltage damage, at least for a while
  
• A Color coded depth display
  In the airlock, displays the current depth and required suit color.
  
• All three crafting stations
  With linked lockers of course.

Recent breakthroughs in harnessing the immense power of alien artifacts has lead to a wave of low cost, high efficiency subs. The Cain is the pinnacle of this new discipline of sub design, granting virtually unlimited range and respectable crate capacity to crews brave enough to wrangle with it's dangerous boiler and less than elegant form.
