Description

Description.
OSTRAD Model 104 is a highly-versatile, fast and agile multirole heavy-weight fighter aircraft, designed being capable of air-to-air, air-to-surface and surveillance / JTAC operations. It was developed as a direct successor to Model 96 - and it is better in every possible way! Improved avionics, far better versatility, new thrust-vectoring engines, more effective fuselage shapes, overhauled arsenal capabilites and supermaneuverability. The prototype had taken its maiden flight in 1997, entered production 2 years later and is being exported to multiple countries - and even private military companies! The default paintscheme of the craft states it belongs to the Sawyer Isles Defence Group - a PMC hired by Sawyer government, active in the zone since 2003. At the request of the customer, the aircraft was adapted to ship-based conditions and is capable of taking off and landing from aircraft carriers.

Features.
  • Half-glass cockpit, featuring 5-screen touch-controlled MFD, 3-screen PFD and an arsenal control screen.
  • 2 20mm autocannons - "Tear'em up!" - 100 rounds provided for each gun.

  • Laser guided arsenal support.
  • Laser frequency can be changed, which allows the aircraft to serve as a JTAC.
  • GPS weaponry support.
  • Droptanks support - inner hardpoints.
  • Countermeasures - 86x chaff.
  • 7Km TWS radar.
  • Directional RWR system.
  • Catapult launch system, as well as arresting hook and the folding wings.

  • Stall speed - 197 KMpH
  • Service ceiling - 19000 M
  • Range at full speed - 610 KM
  • Fuel capacity - 31650 L (Without droptanks)

@Frenchboi - rn, yes. i'll try to fix this thing though
Frenchboi 12 Apr @ 3:05am
Aaah, so we need to use infinite electricity for it then ?
Aiorynd  [author] 12 Apr @ 2:52am
@Frenchboi
Yes, I've found the issue, it's something really really wrong with the batteries, those are draining really quick and I do not understand why, this thing is way too old and outdated
Frenchboi 11 Apr @ 4:07pm
By enabling you mean putting infinite electricity ? Because we didn't I think
If you meant activating the main battery and side one, then yes I did normally

As for the "doesnt launch" I mean literally doesn't launch, like it doesn't start so doesn't move nor fly ^^"
Aiorynd  [author] 11 Apr @ 10:49am
@Frenchboi doesn't launch - are you talking about weapons?
there is only one engine, despite looking like it has 2
about buttons, have you tried enabling the electricity?
Frenchboi 11 Apr @ 7:19am
For some reason doesn't launch at all, only 1 engine out of 2 work (we think with our friends) and no buttons work exept the exterior canopy and thoses for the engines (fuel, main battery, etc).

A shame because it looks good :/

ok, thanks for letting me know
Aiorynd  [author] 22 Feb @ 12:08am
@DR731 thanks, and concerning your issues - front gear collapses if the takeoff speed is too high, the issue with a flight deck does exist, although I guess it occurs because of stormworks physics in general
DR731 21 Feb @ 2:29pm
its awesome but there is a problem where the front landing gear collapses and then wont retract, and it also seems for some reason to slip off the flight deck. Other than that its amazing
