You almost never know that they made this off the old rise-of-the-triad for dos engine. Good use of Duke3d features such as sloped ceilings etc. Really brings the 3d element into the game nicely. At the time when this was new, sloped ceilings and pseudo-floor-over-floor ability (couldn't see both @ once), was a big break from bsp-based Doom that couldn't do floor over floor capability at all unless you used warps cleverly (I used to design maps for both in the dos-days).
