Options
  • Rebalances and some tweaks are optional.
  • Options can be found in "Options - Mod options - Vanilla Expanded Framework - Toggleable pathces".
  • The game needs to be reloaded in order for options to work.

Cherry Picker

Mid-save
  • This mod is safe to add mid-save, but some changes are not retroactive.

Known Issues
  • None. I'd rather remove the patch than having issues.

Suggestions
  • Feel free to suggest anything. But I'll feel free to ignore them if I'm not interested. I’d rather not spend my time explaining other's stupid mod choices or bad ideas.
  • Please note that I only make patches for mods that I play.

Red Error on Startup
  • If you saw a red error on startup, it's highly likely one of the following:
    - one of the patched mods updated and changed something this mod touches
    - another mod already did something to the same place
    - some patches for the mod you don't have are conditioned to activate without that mod
  • In any case, you don't need to worry: they just mean some patches of this mod are failed and not active. Regardless, please report it if you find any. I don't like red errors either.

Bug Reports
  • Specify the minimal set of mods required to reproduce the bug or error, and attach a HugsLib log unless you're sure that's unnecessary. Make sure this mod is involved. Don't make me check that for you.
  • "Removing this mod solved the issue" is not enough; more than half of these reports have turned out to be actually irrelevant to this mod, and I won't investigate that kind of reports anymore.
  • I will just ignore or remove "bug reports" that do not satisfy above, as troubleshooting other people’s mess is wasting more and more of my time.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm in the process of figuring it out and I'm reducing the modlist one by one. With TMM active 3 out of 20 dev mode caravan generations failed, without it 0/20 - not saying it's due to TMM but it's probably one of the patched mods that has some strange incompatibility. There's no reference to a specific mod in the log though, so it might just be random chance. Was just wondering whether this issue popped up before and someone mentioned it to you so I could narrow it down.

With what mod? How did you check this mod is involved? I've never heard anything like this, and have zero memory of adding xenotypes that is incapable of violence to any factions or pawnkinds.

This mod is one of the magnum opuses (opi?) of large modlist overlap removal next to Ferny's patches. Essential mod for my giga modlist. However I need to figure out one issue. With the mod active, the game throws up errors when generating friendly caravans, because the game is not able to spawn a town_guard that is capable of violence. I'm wondering whether it tries to place a highmate or phytokin as a caravan guard but this should be impossible due to the capableofviolence check. Have you had an issue like this reported before? Thx.

And you can consistently replicate the bug with this mod?

This mod doesn't touch anything around save / load, killing pawns nor brain damage. And this mod is incapable of replacing something (like genes or hediffs) of pawns that already generated. The log you attached doesn't indicate involvement of this mod either.

If this mod is actually involved, you likely have a weird mod conflict, and I can't help you without reproduction steps with minimal mod list.

Not certain, but removing this mod alone does remove the issue.

While this mod is active, if I load a previous save without restarting the client, the game kills my Frost Jotun pawn who happens to have brain damage. https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/1ef16fcb49f1c9f609ae5242066d8f7c

Don't know if the log will be useful or not, but does mention the pawn in question, Elisa.

This mod is compatible with CE, but only in the sense that conflicting patches will be disabled.
