Description
mod that lets you toggle the ID lock on lockable items (player submarine ONLY)

requires clientside AND serverside lua

features:
- toggle id card requirement on vanilla items:
  • secure steel cabinet
  • toxin container
  • button
  • doors and hatches with integrated buttons
  • outpost reactor
  • circuit box

- "temporary access":
  • characters without the proper ID card permission can interact with locked items, as long as someone else with access is currently interacting with it
  • for example, an assistant will be able to take items from the toxin cabinet on the Humpback if it is already in use by a medic or captain.
  • disabled by default, enable/disable on the server console with 'til_toggletempaccess'

If it happens again though, I'd like to know what the error is so I could maybe prevent one-off issues like that from even happening.

Hello! Please post the error in the feedback/issues discussion, and any steps I can do to reproduce the error.

I briefly tested this mod in a multiplayer server just now. I can lock/unlock the toxin cabinet and armoury door on the Humpback without any errors.

after some testing with your mod, i found out that issue never exist again, maybe is just my steam download your mod incorrectly(i reinstalled the mod), or because of i just uninstalled a mod called 'sound of europa', that mod is currently broken, so might be that mod causing the problem(when you lunching the game vanilla just give a lots of error message that says some error with the audio when 'sound of europa'installed, that might be the reason this mod alos bugged out i guess? or just download issue), sorry about the disturbing

single player, with custom submarine, i put your mods on the top side so not really sure, do you mind if i send the mods list to you?

Thank you for reporting this. Do you mind giving me more details? i.e., are you using a custom submarine? Is this in singleplayer? multiplayer? any mods that override the items mentioned in the description?

While I have been unable to replicate the console spam, I can only guess why it happens and just now released a fix that should address it.

i don't know why, but seems like this mod just keep causing error on the console, and eventually over flow the system cause the entire lua breakdown, maybe is just my other mods issue, not really sure, also if you want i can send you my mod pack

tested in v1.5.7.0, encountered no issues so it should still work
please post in feedback/issues if otherwise
