I don’t have KK, but it sounds like the server is unreachable. IIRC, you can disable connection attempts by entering -EnableGRPC=false as a launch argument in Steam. Let me know if that works for anyone, otherwise I’ll keep thinking."
Frame drops really piss me off.

I changed the title of my guide, small clarification, I capped the game at 60 FPS before my fix because that seemed sufficient to me, so I thought it wouldn't go higher, great surprise
But, you should really change the headline to something like 'General FPS Drop Fix' or similiar.
As others, and myself, do not prefer a frame cap when racing and therefore might simply oversee your guide!
This guide/fix only locks the fps to 60 in the main menu, but also fixes the fps drops (down to 20fps for me) we are encountering every like ~300 seconds, while in the menus and while driving.
Butthis fix does not cap the frames when driving! Have steady 144fps without any fps drops while racing.
