0TR Salamander Chassis

A versatile and durable platform on which a variety of weapons systems can be mounted, the Salamander Chassis is the foundation of the Martian Red Army's modern tank program. Equipped with strategically-placed decoys embedded in its heavy-blast composite armour, 500mm thick and heavily sloped, there are few weapons capable of perforating its armour from the front or side.

While durable, the Salamander platform is very expensive. It is entrusted only in the hands of the MSR's most loyal and elite tankers, and is used sparingly in operations where it is required. The vehicle itself often outlives whatever weaponry it has equipped, meaning the driver can simply retreat and equip a new turret at a supply base if need be.
