Mission 01: An important task | The lost Saga

Narrator: A long time ago, a wise king ruled over the entire kingdom. Everyone lived in peace with one another, but those carefree times are sadly over. The four dukes Beauregard, Volpe, Truffe and de Puce brought disaster to the kingdom. Although many of the counties and lands still belong to the king, the barbarians have taken up a lurking position and are slowly conquering more territory. Many noblemen have fallen in the coastal and mountain regions. Now the dukes are invading the inland. You, the count and his son, must stop them! Peace must return to the kingdom.

Task: The county must be cleansed. The king's daughter must cross this mountain pass. She must be safe, because the king's son - the prince - was recently killed in a barbarian invasion. Make sure that the path to the new castle is safe.

(Be aware that the ingame map description is in German.)

• Recommended difficulty: to your liking
  
• Difficulty level "very hard" is easier than "hard".
  
• Use the archers wisely.
  
• Charging in head-on is counterproductive.
