FTL Cruiser - UF-1451 Kestrel Mk3

After several combat trials were held which highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of the original Kestrel designs, the Mk3 was created from a husk we found floating in space. The Mk3 has additional armor, smarter turret placement, and benefits from the addition of a battle bridge and the removal of its warhead. This means it won't die in one hit! The Mk3 has the most accurate design when compared to the base FTL craft.

The Kestrel is a large cruiser that is fully plated in heavy armor. This ship comes with various anemities like assemblers and medical bays, and can safely slug it out with opposing ships due to its improved design. Spherical shield generators give protection against enemy gravity weapons, however the ship's antenna and interior turrets were lost in its refit.

The ship comes with a full interior and has a floor plan that mimics the base FTL design. The rooms have been fully designed to replicate the original system rooms, with even sensor, weapons, and doors subsystems included! This ship has been retrofitted for survival, and as such has piping and intelligent system placement.
