Mission 11: Royal preparation | The lost Saga

Narrator: The king was dismayed. The barbarians' actions were beginning to go too far. The king decided to prepare an invasion on Duc Truffe.

The king: "This swine is the worst! To enslave my people like this and plunge them into misery. Now, when we've already marched so close to his castle, we can begin a siege and none of the other dukes are close enough to rush to his aid."

Narrator: Duc Truffe, who built his fortress where a benevolent lord once lived, got wind of this and revealed the location to Duc Beauregard, who in turn revealed the location to Duc de Puce. The king therefore had to be on his guard against barbarian attacks. But it would be some time before the large armies would arrive.

Task: Produce the necessary weapons. Take care of the population and serve ale. But the people must not think you are a weak king in these dark times.

(Be aware that the ingame map description is in German.)

• Start producing the goods early.
  
• Use pitch (fire rivers & oil pots) to destroy the troops.
  
• Recruit crossbowmen.
  
• Watch out for the stockpile (overflow).
