Mission 16: The dam | The lost Saga

Narrator: Unfortunately, the king's men did not manage to kill Duc Truffe. All the troops involved in this embarrassing incident were ordered to the chopping block.

The king (very angrily): "You have brought shame upon me and my kingdom. Now you shall receive the reward for your labour! How could you let Truffe escape..." (Chop).

Narrator: Duc Volpe is planning to occupy the king's dam. Günther discovered the troops in the forest and ran straight to the king with a piece of meat, which he secretly stole from the soldiers. However, his reports were vague. The dam is the only way to the snake's castle. Volpe must not get his hands on it. If the dam is lost, it will be all the more difficult for the king and the noblemen to stop the threat.

The king: "Get ready, Duc Volpe will arrive soon. Don't disappoint me a second time, or you'll end up like these men here!"

Task: Hold out!

• Send melee units to the front, but not near the bridge.
  
• Recruit archers.
  
• Make use of the mangonel.
